PORT ORCHARD, WA—Port Orchard Football club held its first official public event on Saturday May 11 at the Brick House 714 Bar & Grill in downtown Port Orchard. It was a bright, sunny and warm day as fans, players and coaches enjoyed moments together outdoors on the Brick patio.
Skilled Crafting was on hand displaying some of the fan gear offerings they will feature this season. The beautiful table included shirts, hats, caps and a variety of POFC drinkware.

POFC Superfan Audis Jones was presented with his own flag! Audis was captured last year in several photos and videos, including the one below shot by Jesse MacKenzie. POFC Coordinator David Falk introduced Audis to the crowd and then gave him the flag he flew in the photo.

Head Coach Patrick Leonard introduced the players who attended the meet, greet and eat. He thanked the volunteers and supporters. He mentioned how excited he is for fans to see the new talent waiting in the wings for the new season.

Downtown was packed with people attending the PO Farmers Market and enjoying the summer-like day. It made the event a challenge to attend. Some fans couldn’t find parking and returned home. POFC thanks them and those who could find spots for coming out. The club will have other hopefully less hectic, traffic intensive events this season.
