POFC Presents Flag To Mrs. Deyoe’s Olalla Elementary Class

OLALLA, WA—Port Orchard Football Club presented a team flag to Mrs. Deyoe’s 4th grade class at Olalla Elementary on January 9th. In December many in the class participated in a coloring contest featuring a Christmas tree and the POFC logo. Now they have their own flag to hang in their classroom.

Nick Riders represented Port Orchard FC players during the visit. Tyler Brown joined in as a representative for the POFC front office. The flag was presented to the class and then there was a question and answer period where students were encouraged to ask about the club and soccer.

Teacher Abbi Deyoe is married to Ryan Deyoe, the volunteer public address announcer at POFC home matches at South Kitsap High School’s Kitsap Bank Stadium.

Lenora Gooding from Mrs. Deyoe’s class was also one of the weekly contest winners, getting her own flag to take home.

Kick Starting 2025

Port Orchard FC is buiding for the 2025 men’s semi-pro soccer season. The club recently announced its promotional campaign, its partnership search, and the return of Head Coach Patrick Leonard.

Port Orchard FC 2025 home season match passes will be available online starting February 1st.
