PORT ORCHARD, WA—On Sunday March 2 at Spiro’s Pizza & Pasta in Port Orchard the 2025 POFC coaching staff was confirmed as Head Coach Patrick Leonard and new assistant coaches Gabe Threadgold and Jordan Hadden signed contracts.

The trio had gathered minutes before on the pathway bridge on the Port Orchard waterfront to pose for photos and to unfurl the club’s new welcome banner that will greet fans at home matches at Kitsap Bank Stadium this season.

Leonard’s contract includes the designation and role of “Director of Soccer.” Threadgold and Hadden find themselves at a similar place as both talented players are currently sidelined with injuries but jumping at the chance to gain coaching experience at POFC.
General Manager Sam Ironside prepared the contracts and Club Coordinator David Falk was onhand to deliver them and cover the moments for Kitsap’s third-year men’s semi-pro soccer team.
“This was another big day for POFC,” says Falk. “We are growing into the realm of officially signed contracts with high level local soccer people. We are happy to be a place where Gabe and Jordan can learn about coaching under the guidance of Pat.”
Threadgold and Hadden have both been on the field as players during big moments in the young history of Port Orchard Football Club. In July 2023 Threadgold scored in the Championship Final as POFC earned promotion into the First Division of the Cascadia Premier League (CPL1.)
In July 2024 Hadden starred in goal as POFC knocked off MLS-talent filled Crossfire Premier 2-1 to advance to the CPL1 Final. Jordan made numerous saves and was heralded as the “Man of the Match.”
In 2025 Threadgold (Bremerton) and Hadden (Poulsbo) will try new roles guiding the talent on the pitch from the sidelines. They already have plenty to work with as POFC continues to announce players for the new campaign.
