Sound Pest Control Primary Partnership Boosts POFC

BREMERTON, WA—Sound Pest Control has arrived as the new Port Orchard Football Club Primary Sponsor just in time to boost the club’s plans for the 2025 season.

Sound Pest Control will appear on the front of the POFC jerseys as is tradition for the largest single donor of a club. Owner Marty Huff recently made his company’s commitment official and POFC Coordinator David Falk dropped by with a scarf, flags and window decals in an initial show of thanks for the support.

Sound Pest Control is a locally-owned and operated pest control business in Bremerton, Washington. With over 30 years of combined experience, they know what an inconvenience pest can be, and what a hassle it is to find an honest pest control company. Their goal is to make families feel safe in their own homes by exterminating general household pestsantsbed bugsrodents, and more.

Owner Marty Huff is a generous member of the Kitsap community, serving as President of the Central Kitsap Food Bank and sponsoring local groups such as the Kitsap County Rodeo, among others.

“We are very grateful that Sound Pest Control has stepped up to support POFC,” Falk says. “Their generous donation allows us to kick our plans for the 2025 season into high gear. As a direct result of their help we were able to sign our coaching staff and plan for new uniforms.”

Port Orchard FC General Manager Sam Ironside (sam@gopofc.com) leads the club’s process in finding and connecting with local business partners. “While it is a brand new partnership, the passion and excitement that Sound Pest Control showed from the very beginning of our interactions have easily convinced me that this was a great move for our club and pushes us in the right direction,” he says. “I cannot thank them enough for investing in the growth of POFC, and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do together going forward. I am hopeful that it’s a partnership that lasts a long time into the future.”

Sound Pest Control takes over from El Sombrero Family Mexican Restaurants, who were POFC Primary Partners in 2023 and 2024. “We would like to thank Pablo de la Cruz and his family for helping found POFC and being such an important part of what we have accomplished so far,” Falk says. “They are POFC family and will always be part of the DNA of our club.”
