PORT ORCHARD, WA—Port Orchard Football Club’s third season home schedule has been confirmed with a championship rematch and other first-time visitors to Kitsap Bank Stadium.
POFC will host Steel United, Sharktopus FC, Washington Premier FC Legends, Nido Aguila Seattle and Bigfoot Football Club over the months of May, June and July at Ed Fisher Field at South Kitsap High School.
General Manager Sam Ironside Reacts
“There is no denying that the quality of opposition in our league has grown substantially year upon year,” says POFC General Manager Sam Ironside, “and the 2025 schedule is truly a testament to that quality. I am looking forward to giving fans the chance to see a lot of great soccer this year with some teams we’ve seen before and some new faces, and who doesn’t love a good final rematch on our home turf and a chance at some revenge from last season.”
Sharktopus Invades Sinclair Inlet
Sharktopus FC will travel to Port Orchard on Saturday June 7 for a 5 PM kick off at Kitsap Bank Stadium. The last time they faced POFC was in the 2024 CPL1 Championship Match. Port Orchard remembers well the sting of a 1-0 loss that kept them from lifting a trophy.
Stories Of Legends and Bigfoot
The Washington Premier FC Legends are a much different team than the WPFC youth-focused side POFC beat last year. This Puyallup group earned their way up into the first division by winning the CPL2 just like Port Orchard did back in 2023. It’s a crafty collection of coaches and WPFC alumni that will be in Port Orchard on Sunday night June 29 for a 7 PM kick off.
Bigfoot Football Club hails from Maple Valley. The are foraging onto the local soccer scene in 2025 as a debut club in the USL2, CPL1, and also with women’s teams in the W-League and CPL2. They already have a mascot and pre-season wins under their belts. They are owned by Shawn Norris, founder of West Coast Goalkeeping.
Later Kick Off Times & Match Day Giveaways
POFC is moving match kick off times back to 5 PM (or 7 PM) to allow the shade to start covering the main stand at Kitsap Bank Stadium.
In addition, the club will have five different giveaways over the season. The first 100 fans at each home match will get a fun giveaway (see graphic above for items.)
