POFC v. Sharktopus FC – League Crossover Match
MATCH NOTES
LEAGUE OPENER: POFC opens the 2025 Cascadia Premier League First Division season on Saturday June 7 when the club hosts Seattle side Sharktopus FC at 5 PM at Kitsap Bank Stadium. This is a ‘crossover’ match match between two Cascadia Premier League clubs. Sharktopus are in the ‘Baker’ Division and POFC are in the ‘Rainier.’
ALL-TIME MEETINGS: POFC (CPL1) and Sharktopus FC have met just one time previously. In last year’s CPL1 championship match Sharktopus edged Port Orchard 1-0 to win the league trophy.
ABOUT: Sharktopus FC and POFC share a similar mission as both clubs are adult amateur sides operating independently of any youth club. Sharktopus became known nationwide after their run to gain entry into the US Open Cup. The team is a mix of former pros, elite adults and college standouts.
