60 Players Turn Out For First Ever POFC Tryouts

PORT ORCHARD, WA—Port Orchard Football Club held its first-ever open tryouts on March 25 and 26 where a total of 60 players tried to impress the coaching staff. The tryouts were covered in this article by Jeff Graham of the Kitsap Sun with photos by Meegan M. Reid.

There were also spectators at the event, including family and friends of trialists and also POFC Founders and Season Ticket Holders picking up their lanyard passes.

After two hard-fought sessions Head Coach Patrick Leonard and assistants Mark Nowak and Sam Gomez sat down for a few hours and made some tough decisions. The end result was 26 guys continuing on with training as the roster evolves.
