Blackjack Creek Pathway Bridge Stars In Port Orchard FC 2025 Promo Materials

PORT ORCHARD, WA—Port Orchard Football Club wants to continue building connections with the community in 2025. The Blackjack Creek pathway bridge in downtown will be the featured symbol of the club’s third season. It will appear in videos and graphics used at GoPOFC.com and on social media.

“The message of connection is an important one,” says POFC General Manager Sam Ironside. “Especially as we move into our third year as a club looking to grow and build from previous seasons, connection is a key aspect that allows us to continue to grow whether it be through players, sponsors, or the community itself.”

Sam continues his work to connect POFC with Kitsap area businesses. He can be reached at sam@gopofc.com.

Bridges are connections between points. Grand or simple, they are created to bring people together.

“The Blackjack Creek bridge isn’t a big bridge,” says Club Coordinator David Falk, “but it serves a purpose: connecting Westbay with Downtown and allowing walkers and bikers safe passage across the creek,” says Falk. “In the same way, POFC seeks to provide connections between players, families, supporters and partners in Kitsap County.”

Standing on the bridge you can look across Sinclair Inlet to the majestic Manette Bridge in Bremerton. That’s the bridge that lights up with fireworks on the 4th of July.

POFC will bring the semi-pro soccer fireworks starting in May.

Season passes for the 2025 season will go on sale in February.

In 2023 POFC debuted by using the murals in downtown as symbols. In 2024 the club sharpened its focus on to the foot ferry landing and its totem, artwork and the historic Carlisle II ferry. Now comes the bridge used by thousands of walkers and riders.
