BREMERTON, WA—Goalkeeper Jordan Hadden quite literally saved the day in last year’s Port Orchard FC Cascadia Premier League semifinal win over Crossfire.
That stellar performance remains etched in Jordan’s memory as he battles back from offseason surgery. The Poulsbo guy who played pro in Finland is on a new journey: it’s a physical task requiring mental strength and plenty of character.
“I ruptured my ACL and tore both the Medial and Lateral Meniscus,” Jordan says. “Surgery was on the 18th of October and it went great. Recovery is going great as well. Now I am working on both strength and Range of Motion (ROM).”

Coach Pat Praises Hadden’s ‘Elite Mentality’
POFC gaffer Patrick Leonard is a longtime friend of Hadden’s. “I was devastated for Jordan, given he still showed his worth through the championship. He’s been a great player with a great career and anytime something like this comes a player’s way the player faces true adversity. That all being said, Jordan is a guy with an elite mentality that can get himself through this recovery and still be able to play at a decent level. Really, I think it just comes down to the character of the man and knowing Jordan well, he is the type that would never let a setback like this define him.”

Hadden is expected to miss at least the start of the 2025 Port Orchard FC season. He will spend his time regaining strength and slowly returning to his soccer and sports training businesses.
“Currently Total Goalkeeping (TGK) and Total Sports Performance (TSP) are on pause, however I will be starting them up again shortly. Very light at first, group sessions only, 1-2 sessions a day. Then I’ll open it up to a full schedule when the time is right.”

Leonard is looking at the bigger life picture for his friend. “Things happen in life for a reason and I think this is a time in Jordan’s life he’ll look back on and see it helped him in his coaching career path.”
Some Time To Breathe
“I think the most important thing I have learned about myself during this whole process is to take a step back and give myself some time to breathe,” Jordan says. “A lot of athletes like myself are “go, go, go” or “I gotta do this, in this amount of time in order to complete my goals,” and the world isn’t always built like that. Sometimes taking a step back, giving yourself a break, helps you realize what you want in life and helps your write or rewrite your path to your goals and dreams. It’s very easy to get caught up in the process and forget about the end goal. By taking a step back and seeing the big picture definitely helps.”
