PORT ORCHARD, WA—Port Orchard Football Club held 2025 open tryouts the weekend of March 29-30 at Kitsap Bank Stadium. Two players serving on the USS Ronald Reagan were among ten to be invited to continue training with the club.

Jaden Joseph and Jaiden Lett (Navy) got nods to move into club training. The tryouts also featured two other sailors (Obed Miranda, Bryan Dudnath) and a sub technician based in Bangor (Tanner Jones.) It was the largest active military turnout ever for POFC tryouts.
Rounding out the rest of the ten invited to continue training: Pepe DeLuna, Evan Falk, Landon Gordon, Jesus Hernandez, Finn McCallum, Sebastian Moran, Michael Nation and Vinny Self.

The weather cooperated nicely over the weekend, especially the sunny day on Saturday. There were nearly 50 talented players registered to be seen. The mood was competitive but friendly. Players helping each other up, quickly learning names, shaking hands.
About The Ten
The open tryouts haul of ten players is a big one for POFC. All with good to excellent chances of sticking for the season and making impacts.
Alphabetically, let’s take a quick look at the guys.

Pepe DeLuna (winger) is a North Kitsap High grad who helped build the Vikings into state contenders in recent years.
Evan Falk is a defender from Bremerton High who now plays at Tacoma CC.
Landon Gordon is a goalkeeper from Timberline High (Lacey, WA) who now plays at PLU.
Jesus Hernandez is a goalkeeper from Davis High (Yakima, WA) who now plays at Tacoma CC.

Jaden Joseph is a 25 year old winger who played at a professional academy in Trinidad & Tobago and later for the All-Navy Men’s Soccer Team.
Jaiden Lett is a 23 year old holding midfielder who previously was on trial with Sparta Rotterdam in the Netherlands and has played pro in Trinidad & Tobago.
Finn McCallum is a defender / centerback from Bainbridge High (grad) who currently coaches at Bainbridge Island FC.
Sebastian Moran is a senior at North Kitsap High who plays midfield. He’s been a big part of the recent Vikings success at state.

Michael Nation is a home town Port Orchard defender (age 30) who went to SKHS and has played for the Oly-Pen Force (indoor), Harbor FC, and was first team all league for the Olympic College Rangers in 2012.
Vinny Self is a senior at Bainbridge High committed to play attacking midfield at The University of Puget Sound. He’s been on the Washington state EPD program twice.

Port Orchard FC now have 24 players in the talent pool, including the 14 guys that have already signed on for 2025.
