PORT ORCHARD, WA—Port Orchard Football Club is excited to announce that midfielder Kolby Juarez will join the team roster after his senior season with the Central Kitsap High Cougars.

Juarez plays club ball with Bellevue Rush and is a captain and leader with the Cougars. In the video interview below Kolby says he has experience playing against older teams and elite adult players through his training with Bellevue.
Juarez becomes the second officially rostered player for Port Orchard FC, joining midfielder Sam Gomez. Kolby is familiar with Gomez as Sam is an assistant coach at Central Kitsap. POFC Gaffer Pat Leonard is the CKHS head coach as well and has watched Juarez develop as an exceptional soccer player and young man.

A bunch of other player candidates await training starting April 5. 60 guys came to the recent open tryouts and there is also a group of talent the POFC coaches are recruting behind the scenes to fill out a competitive roster. The club posted a graphic of names of those invited from tryouts into training.

The coaches are working to get a team ready for an April 30 friendly at South Kitsap High School against Nido Aguila Club America Seattle’s Second Team. The following weekend the Cascadia Premier League regular season begins when POFC hosts Steel United on Sunday May 7 at 3 PM at SKHS.
