PORT ORCHARD, WA—Aidan Harvey has officially told the club that he intends to return to Port Orchard FC for the 2024 Cascadia Premier League Division One season. It’s huge news for the second-year team’s defensive back line. It’s also great news for Aidan’s family and the community growing up around the club.

Family, Community
“I chose to return because of the large community we built during last season’s run,” Harvey says. “My family love the club and I love to see my family enjoy it as much as I do.”
The new season will be higher level opponents, which also is appealing to Aidan. “I am looking forward to playing against harder competition (in the CPL1),” he says.
POFC Open Tryouts March 23-24
Aidan has already registered for POFC Open Tryouts on March 23-24. He expects to jump right in and earn a spot alongside other new and returning players. He’s hopeful other talented players will follow his commitment to the club.

Gaffer Excited To Begin The Build With Harvey
POFC Head Coach Patrick Leonard is excited to have Aidan’s commitment. “I’m really happy to have Aidan back on board this season. He’s the only player to have played every minute for this club, which tells you just how important he was to our play and our success last season.”

The tone of 2024 player recruitment for POFC is being set with the first name announced. “I think announcing Aidan as our first signing for the summer and the 2024 season shows that our intentions are to come into CPL1 and compete right away.”
Leornard believes fans will be happy with the news. “He’s a leader and he is a player that any coach would want in their team. I’m thrilled to have him back for another season. This is a signing that should get the support excited for the upcoming season.”
