Bremerton’s Aidan Harvey Set For Launch With Port Orchard FC

PORT ORCHARD, WA—Aidan Harvey joins the Port Orchard FC Official Roster after a successful open tryouts and strong presence in weekly training. The versatile Bremerton player is excited to help with launching a new club in Kitsap.

Along with helping start POFC Harvey is also continuing to build his soccer career. He’s counting on his athleticism and competitive drive to make a difference.

Coach Leonard Excited

“Aidan is a player we identified pretty early on,” says Port Orchard FC Head Coach Patrick Leonard. “His versatility and his defensive tenacity offer exactly what we are looking to have with a player in his role. He is a strong player with great experience. Aidan is a player that instantly makes us a far better team when he walks in. I’m excited to work with him!”

Both Sides Of The Bridge

Aidan crossed the Narrows bridge to compete in high-level club soccer with Washington Premier. He also turned out for Bremerton High School all four years and his senior year the Knights advanced to state or the first time since 2011. Aidan was named to the Olympic League 2A First Team.

Harvey chose to stay in the region by continuing into college with Tacoma CC Titans where he knew he could grow his game and was familiar with the coaches. He started 16 matches and played in 18 as a freshman in 2022 for the Titans, eventually being honored on a all-region list.

Roster Starts To Grow

Aidan joins Sam Gomez (Bremerton), Kolby Juarez (Silverdale) and Bryan Weathington (Port Orchard) on the Official Roster for the 2023 debut season of Port Orchard Football Club.

POFC will continue to announce players as the season approaches. The first-ever match comes on Sunday April 30 with a 3 PM Friendly against Nido Aguila Club America Seattle at South Kitsap High School’s Ed Fisher Field.
