PORT ORCHARD, WA—Port Orchard Football Club (2-0-0) used a second half tsunami of shots and goals to score a big 4-1 win over Sharktopus FC (2-1-0) on Saturday June 7 at Kitsap Bank Stadium. It was the first CPL1 league win of 2025 for Port Orchard and the first league loss for the defending champions from Seattle.

The best stretch of play in POFC’s young history began in about the 56th minute. It extended for more than 8 minutes with near misses, takeaways, crisp passes, and most importantly, a three goal outburst to clinch the match.

Jaggar Judkins scored in the 60th to put POFC up 2-1. Derek Johnson made it 3-1 in the 62nd. Johnson struck again in the 64th and the place was buzzing as Port Orchard took a 4-1 lead. Jake MacKenzie had begun the home side scoring an hour earlier with the quickest goal in team history, scoring just 90 seconds into the match. See all four goals in the reel below.
Port Orchard gaffer Patrick Leonard was quite pleased with the performance and the result, praising his players for the adjustments they implemented after halftime.
The win boosted POFC into an early first place spot in the CPL1 Rainier Division. The crossover match with Sharktopus (Baker Division) counts in the standings just like division matches.

“THE CALL” of the match by Dave Radovich was Jaggar’s goal. The strike came after POFC had knocked on the door multiple times threatening to take the lead. Teamwork was on full display as Derek Johnson swung a free kick to Connor Louden. Louden lofted a ball to the far post which Ryan Anderson headed to the feet of Jaggar Judkins. Jaggar poked it home past the diving Sharktopus keeper.

The Port Orchard defense was also stellar against the high-powered Sharktopus attack. In the first half a goalmouth stand included a header off the line by POFC centerback Hunter Milbrot.
