PORT ORCHARD, WA—Port Orchard Football Club hosted a 2026 season kick off event on Sunday April 26 at Port Orchard Town Square. Supporters were invited to drop by, pick up their season passes, grab a schedule, visit with Coach Max, pose with club trophies, and even enjoy a donut from Lone Star Donuts.

Friendly Faces
“We enjoyed seeing friendly faces again,” says POFC Club Coordinator David Falk. “It was a good day for the club as we also sold more season passes and scarves, and met some new buisness owners at the Town Square.” POFC fans lined up for donuts and there was overflow to other shops as well.
Meeting Max
Head Coach Max Sampson participated in his first public event with the club. ‘It was interesting to meet some of the ticket holders and hear about the reasons why they follow the club,” Max said after the day concluded. “Many of them know players on the team. They feel that the team is a connection to their community and some of them are new to the area and they found Port Orchard to be a great way to find belonging and and something to root for while they’re here”.

Max chatted with supporters about a number of topics. “For some fans POFC is an affordable option to entertain themselves and their kids over weekends. And they’re all really excited about going to games and the atmosphere that’s created at games. Some of the fans were interested about how I plan to build the team and what they can expect. So, we discussed the playing styles, some of the returning players, and how we see the league shaping up with new competition and new teams.”
Port Orchard FC makes its debut in the Evergreen Premier League on Sunday May 10 at 3 PM when the Tall Firs host Bellingham United. All Moms and GrandMoms get in FREE to celebrate Mothers Day. The full season schedule is now posted.
