PORT ORCHARD, WA—He was on the original Port Orchard FC over 7 years ago and now versatile back / winger Bryan Weathington has been added to the official roster of POFC 2023, becoming the first ever player on the club who claims Port Orchard as his home town.
Bryan’s soccer story includes playing for Port Orchard’s South Kitsap Soccer Club Selects as a youth. He’s lived the game as an adult with various local teams. He’s also coached at the youth level with Harbor FC of Gig Harbor and recently became the Lead Coach for the Bremerton Sports Center.
Weathington played for EJ King High School in Sasebo. Japan and later for the Olympic College Rangers in the NWAC.

“It’s an important moment for Port Orchard FC,” says Club Coordinator David Falk. “To have a guy like Bryan who played for a local youth club right here make the semi-pro roster and be able to represent his home town is exciting. We hope the future brings many more Port Orchard guys joining other talented players around Kitsap and competing with and for POFC.”
Weathington joins Sam Gomez (Bremerton) and Kolby Juarez (Silverdale) as officially announced rostered players for Port Orchard Football Club. More players will be revealed as the club build towards the April 30 debut match at South Kitsap High School’s Ed Fisher Field.
