PORT ORCHARD, WA—Port Orchard Football Club is excited to officially announce that the club’s debut season in the Cascadia Premier League (CPL) will feature home matches being played on Ed Fisher Field at Kitsap Bank Stadium at South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard.
Six home matches are scheduled to kick off Sundays at 3 PM, late April through July. The full schedule will be posted when finalized.
Close to Restaurant Partners
SKHS is just five minutes away by car from POFC Primary Sponsor El Sombrero Family Mexican Restaurant. It’s the same proximity for Peninsula Beverage Co. (21+) and Port Orchard Spiro’s Pizza and Pasta.
“POFC would like to thank SKHS Athletic Director Lindsey Foster and Athletics Assistant Kerri Mueller for their help and support in confirming our home venue,” says Port Orchard FC Coordinator David Falk. “Kerri has helped us with scheduling and paperwork and we appreciate her and the school’s community spirit.”
“South Kitsap High School is the perfect location for POFC,” commented Supporters Liaison Aaron Banks. “I admire the dedication of the Athletic Department to providing a space for our community to gather and for traditions to grow. I can’t wait.”
The venue features an artificial surface called Matrix Turf that was installed in 2015. The field plays well for soccer with full dimensions, a low crown and grass-like bounces of the ball.
Port Orchard FC is offering $23 season tickets and FOUNDERS CIRCLE membership through February 23.
