PORT ORCHARD, WA—Port Orchard Football Club welcomes Silverdale’s Hunter Milbrot as the latest announced officially rostered player for the new Cascadia Premier League team.
Milbrot’s arrival in midfield adds to the potential of that group to produce for Head Coach Patrick Leonard. “Hunter is a player I’ve known for a few years now,” Leonard says.” I’ve coached Hunter at Central Kitsap and know exactly how he’ll fit into what we are doing here. I’d also say Hunter knows exactly how to play the style I’m asking him to, which helps out immensely when we are building a squad as quickly as we are. I’m excited to work with him again.”

Hunter played varsity at CK under Leonard as a junior. Now finishing his senior year he commutes over to Bellevue for club soccer with Bellevue Rush. He also featured for Kitsap Alliance and Washington Premier previously.

“I started playing premier soccer when I was 7 years old,” Hunter says on his recruitment page, “and it is the only sport I have ever wanted to play. Through playing soccer I have learned that hard work pays off, and that you can reach goals if you set your mind to it, but more important is putting in the work everyday.”

A Growing Player List
Hunter joins Sam Meade (University Place), Armando Valez (Lakewood) joins Sam Gomez (Bremerton), Kolby Juarez (Silverdale), Bryan Weathington (Port Orchard), Aidan Harvey (Bremerton) and Nick Riders (Bremerton) as announced from the Official Roster for the 2023 debut season of Port Orchard Football Club.
POFC will continue to announce players as the season approaches. The first-ever match comes on Sunday April 30 with a 3 PM Friendly against Nido Aguila Club America Seattle at South Kitsap High School’s Ed Fisher Field.
